Farm to Table strengthens economic livelihoods of farmers by building connections to local markets, brokers local fresh produce into institutions and restaurants, brings healthy foods to schools by way of Farm to School and School Garden programs, helps communities develop Food Policy Councils which inform policies, and gathers folks in learning environments such as the Annual New Mexico Organic Farming Conference and the Southwest Marketing Network Conference. Farm to Table firmly believes that food is a basic human right. We also affirm that access to regionally grown healthy and culturally relevant food is paramount to the well-being and sustainability of communities.
