Germantown Church of God is a serving Church. Just as Jesus came to serve others, we take seriously our call to serve our world. We have served the mountain top community of Cascade, Maryland for over 145 years. Members of our Church family serve their community through the Hagerstown Rescue Mission, Cascade Elementary School, our local Food Bank, the local Help Hotline, and more. We serve our world by supporting ministries to those of other cultures with our prayers, our gifts, our time and our energy. Church of God is a loving Church family. In one of Jesus' best known stories, he told of a wayward son who came home to a welcoming, loving, accepting, and forgiving Father. We believe that it is important to provide a safe place for fellowship, where people will find encouragement and support. A place where people will feel loved and accepted, no matter where they have been or what they have done.
