The Massachusetts Army National Guard, has been providing homeland security since 1636, and we are proud of our heritage as Citizen Soldiers. We are the oldest of all the state National Guards in the U.S. and we are continuously searching for new members to carry on our legacy. Our mission is to defend the United States, assist Law Enforcement and Homeland Defense, and aid the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and your community in emergencies and natural disasters. We are members of this community who volunteer to keep it a safe place to live in times of need.
