Our Lady of the Assumption School is a 2010 Blue Ribbon Award winner; nationally recognized as a School of Excellence. We are located in the Pelham Bay section of the east Bronx. We offer full day classes for Pre K to 8th grade. We have over 320 students of diverse backgrounds. We follow the New York State standards as well as offering Music, Art, Phys Ed, Computers, and Spanish. All our classrooms are connected to the Internet and have Smartboards to make education exciting for all students. We offer Before and Afterschool programs for working parents. We have Boy Scouts/ Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts/ Brownies, Cheerleaders, Basketball teams, Bowling League, and an active Parent Guild. We are a Catholic school where faith formation and character development are most important.
