UCM is a 68 year old, ecumenical campus ministry located on the campus of Northwestern University, a major research university with 17,000 students (7,000 undergraduates). UCM is sponsored by the Presbyterian Church (USA) and the United Methodist Church. Through programs of worship, Bible study/discussion groups, speakers, retreats, fellowship activities and an international friendship mission trip, UCM strives to meet the spiritual needs of students on campus.Our program draws over 100 participants during the school year. Sunday night dinner and worship is the core of our weekly program and draws approximately 30 students (mostly undergraduates and a few young graduate students). UCM draws students from many denominations (and some of other religions) with its welcoming environment.
