The Phlebotomy Program is a 4 day 20 hour course designed for students with a background in the medical field. The program was created to enhance the prospective students skills to meet the demand in today's workforce. The program includes an in-depth study of phlebotomy and the related skills required by the phlebotomist to function in the health care setting. Because of the advanced studies in clinical skills and human anatomy, it is required that prospective students possess a certification and background as health care professionals such as CNA's, CMA's , PCT's, LVN's, EMT-B, EMT-I and EMT-P's.
