Based in Davis, CA, Music Together of Davis is an internationally recognized early children's music education program for families with children from birth through 8 years old. Now taught in over 3000 communities spanning more than 40 countries, the program was developed in 1987 by the Center for Music and Young Children in Princeton, NJ. Music Together of Davis pioneered the concept of a research-based, developmentally appropriate music curriculum that facilitates adult involvement. Through informal instruction, classes provide an engaging, playful, and non-performance-oriented learning environment that emphasizes actual music experiences rather than concepts about music.
