The Recording Connection is pleased to partner with Maximus Music for our mentor-apprentice approach to audio education. Learn where artists including: Nicki Minaj Jadakiss Wiz Khalifa Zaytoven and more recorded their hits. Learn in one-on-one sessions with your mentor, a respected local audio engineer, music producer or EDM producer inside Maximus Music. You'll spend a minimum of ten hours a week externing in an established Charlotte recording studio where you'll gain real-world experience.

Charlotte Academy of Music was founded in 2008, twenty years after Executive Director Regina Ziliani accepted her first piano student. Having operated successful studios in Spartanburg, SC and San Jose, CA, it was evident upon moving to North Carolina that the south Charlotte area needed a school providing quality music education. In 2004 Regina opened a home piano studio in Mint Hill, which quickly grew to over 80 students and a full waiting list. It had long been a dream of Regina's to open a music school where students of all ages could take private lessons, group classes, play in ensembles and be a part of a thriving, inspiring musical community. The Sai Musiq Concert Series caters to a diverse crowd. The artists perform on a stage that is intimate and quaint making each performance an unforgettable, interactive experience for the audience and performers. Sai Musiq Studios is a cross-cultural, performance-based education program for students of all ages. Classes are conveniently offered on a month-to-month basis and are scheduled by appointment to best fit the schedule of each student. Sounds Of Sai band is available for any occasion including: weddings, receptions, birthday parties, graduation parties, all private and corporate events, special concerts, restaurant gigs, festivals, college events and recording sessions. They perform a mixture of rhythm and blues, jazz, hip hop and soul music.
