Traffic survival schools are not the same as defensive driving schools. Traffic survival school does not remove points from your drivers license and it cannot be taken online. If you're looking for a course to keep points from being reflected on your drivers license you need to attend a "defensive driving school" not a "traffic survival school." Traffic survival school is classroom instruction for drivers who have been assigned by ADOT MVD or Court Order. In addition to the above information copied from the ADOT website you can also be MVD assigned to attend traffic survival school for DUI, reckless driving, racing or any combination of violations resulting in 8 or more points on your driving record within a 12 month period.
