Providence Christian Academy exists to partner with parents of students with different capabilities to provide a Christ-centered education founded on the Bible. We endeavor to encourage spiritual development and provide the necessary tools to empower the students to achieve individual academic goals, become productive citizens of society, and grow in their knowledge of Jesus Christ. PCA’s goal is to teach students of all ability levels through solid Christian pedagogy and materials. Because we are able to teach students with both conventional and unique needs, our program is very different from the typical school or classroom. We offer progressive teaching, but only expect student output based on the gifting of each individual student. Our teaching is done in progression, where students move from the concrete to the philosophical as they are ready. Students also progress through “grade-level objectives” as they learn, rather than staying in the typical one-year age-based grade level.
