Youth Impact was established in 2004 as the Juvenile Enrichment through Mentoring Project to provide mentoring and support for youth offenders transitioning from incarceration back into the community. The agency has grown to serve youth, ages 4-18, who have a parent incarcerated, are under juvenile court supervision, and/or have multiple risk-factors associated with greater likeliness for juvenile delinquency. Participants benefit from weekly one-to-one mentoring and program support through life skills training, exposure to secondary education and service learning opportunities.
