FHFGBR Is a non-profit, family directed resource center for individuals with disabilities and their families. It is a place where families can go that is directed and staffed by parents or family members of children with disabilities or adults with disabilities. It is this common experience that gives Families Helping Families a very unique approach to serving families. Families Helping Families staff can answer questions and provide technical assistance for any disability, any age. Because everyone that works at FHFGBR is the parent or caregiver of someone with a disability, when we say we understand we truly do. We are here to help you navigate the maze of services to make sure you have access to all you are entitled to receive. We want to empower you with the factual and unbiased information that you need to be able to make informed decisions for yourself and your family on all disability-related issues. We serve ALL ages, ALL disabilities and never charge you for any support, information or education you receive from FHFGBR. We know first-hand the importance of supporting you and connecting you with others that understand what you are going through. It is with this support that will help exclude you from the isolation that sometimes comes along with having a child with differences.
