GHERF’s 270-acre facility & staff are committed to offering quality equine and regenerative farming programs & services that meet the educational, vocational, recreational & rehabilitative needs of South-Central Virginia. Our programming is designed to build upon the unique gifts of each individual, enabling them to successfully improve their body, mind & spirit through the healing powers of our horse & the knowledge & application of healthy living through regenerative farming practices. Our specialized programs include: Private Equestrian classes (individual/group), Equine Assisted Therapy and Activities, Educational Farming Sessions, Endless Strides, Horses Serving Heroes, Horsin’ Around project & the Red Helmet Club. Recognizing Good Hope’s excellence in administrative and service delivery methodologies that promote quality industry standards and evidence-based equine assisted activities for individuals with varying conditions, our organization has been recognized as a Premier Accredited Center by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.), formerly known as NARHA (North American Riding for the Handicapped Association), since 2001. GHERF will continue to serve as training site for PATH, Intl. to provide specialized workshops & certifications provide continuing education and certifications to professionals throughout the country.
