Building Supplies
Home to a large selection of new or gently used items, our ReStore warehouse does more than just offer you great discounts. Did you know that all proceeds from this store go directly back into supporting the mission and goals of Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk? Through donations, we take valuable construction and home improvement products out of the waste stream and offer them to the public at greatly reduced prices. As these products are sold at our store, the proceeds go to the Affordable Home Building Fund which helps Habitat Suffolk build homes for needy folks right here on Long Island.
We are confident we won’t disappoint, as we carry a rather large assortment of new and slightly used building materials. You will find hundreds of picture, bay, bow, casement and double-hung windows in all sorts of different sizes. We have interior and exterior pre-hung doors along with many custom ordered entrance doors. There are kitchen cabinets, bath vanities, sinks, bath tubs, ceramic tiles, and much more, all at way below retail prices.
Have a new or gently used item you just can’t find use for? Please feel free to support Habitat for Humanity by donating any new/used kitchen sets, windows, building materials, electronics, etc. Not only can you help support Habitat for Humanity and receive a possible tax write off, but you would also be helping another family update their home. Not sure if you have what we need? Give us a call to see what items we accept, we will even pick it up for free!
Donation Hotline: 631-767-1612
However, your support is not only limited to purchases or donations as the Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk ReStore gladly welcomes volunteers. The ReStore is a successful source of funding for Habitat for Humanity because individuals continue to generously give their time, energy and motivation. We average about 200 hours per month in volunteer hours which enables us to to keep our paid staff to a minimum and so dedicate as much revenue as possible back into building more homes. Volunteering with the ReStore is a great way to be a part of Habitat for Humanity. You can come on your own, or bring a business, church, community group, or the family. Volunteers at ReStore must be at least 17 years of age and be able to work unsupervised.
