The Michael Dykes Foundation was put together on behalf of my brother in law Michael Dykes. He was in a severe car accident on October 4, 2011 when a lady came into his lane and hit him head on. He has head trauma. Michaels brother (my husband) Anthony and I were wondering what families do when tragedies like this happens. My mother in law Vickie had to quit her job to take care of Michael 100%. Other families may not be able to do so and when we looked into it there is nobody who helps out in these situations. So we decided to start our own non profit organization so we can help families in need when they go through times like this.
