Design is more impactful for me than fine art because in design the mutual exchange of communication matters more than the expression itself, transforming art into a two-way street; aesthetics is a creative means, not the ends, of design. I use this method of communication because it means making the most of those moments when I have someone else's attention. The art of design allows me to channel my passion for mutually beneficial exchange into something that is supportive, positive and creative.The good feeling I get when people are impressed by my art comes from the validation that there has been successful communication between us; it pains me to see people missing out on their potential due to ineffective design.
