From the outset two years ago, our Editor-in-Chief envisioned Northside Vibes becoming a publication that would be an integral part of the community. Her goal has been to provide an informative newspaper that people identify with and take pride in and that serves to bridge the different segments of the community. In addition, she wants to provide career exploratory options in writing, photography and production, and life skill programs for community youths and specific adult populations, such as those in re-entry from incarceration. Northside Vibes has already received requests from several youth groups interested in being involved with the paper. To-date, with a conservatively estimated readership of 40,000+, the GOOD NEWSpaper has been well received and creates quite a buzz throughout Richmond, Virginia, surrounding counties, and other Cities and States!
