The Silver Tones evolved 10 years ago from a group of six senior citizens getting together on a Tuesday evening for a sing a-long experience. Ranging in age from 62 to 94 and now numbering 24, the group has a weekly ministry in local healthcare facilities, senior centers and Churches. Members are from various religious backgrounds, with the majority residing in Florence Gardens Retirement Community at Canyon Hills Church. As friends and neighbors we regard oneanother as 'extended family'. We accepted one another's differences and celebrate the 'sameness' we have discovered in our love of God, Gospell Music, and, oneanother.
