B & D Industrial Services is one of the many businesses in the St. Paul and surrounding area that is rich in history, having been in business for 30 years. Bernard Drolet started the repair shop in his backyard and his son, Doug, joined him with a mobile repair service. In 1986, they purchased a shop in St. Paul. Bernie repaired electrical and machined engine components, and Doug repaired light and heavy duty vehicles. Soon the shop got very busy and they expanded. They went from 4 employees to 8 employees and acquired another shop across the lot to accommodate all the parts they were having to stock.
