Prison Network Ministries (PNM) is a not-for-profit, interdenominational Christian organisation that supports women who are, or have been in the Victorian prison system. Our purpose is to provide practical, emotional and spiritual support to these women and their families - and in so doing we bring hope and encouragement to enable them to move forward in their life. PNM was founded in 1946 and currently operates with 6 staff (full-time and part-time) and 40 volunteers. Our regular in-prison programs include weekly craft, cooking, sports and discussion groups. Additionally we organise fortnightly 'Fun with Mum' activities for the children of women prisoners when they come for visits.
