The Singapore Flying College, established in 1988, is an approved Flight Training Organisation in Singapore. Its primary objective is to provide Ab-initio as well as Advanced flight training to pilots for the Singapore Airlines Group. The College, with its Head Office at Seletar Airport in Singapore and branches in Jandakot, Perth and Maroochydore, on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland in Australia, also accepts the enrollment of self-sponsored candidates. The Seletar Phase of training comprises ground school that delivers the ATPL subjects and some flight training that constitutes aptitude flight testing. Upon successful completion of the Seletar Phase, the cadets are sent to Australia to complete the majority of their flight training.
