Beyond providing unmatched clinical care at Boston Children's, we're working around the clock to design approaches that let kids be kids. The Snapper Laboratory is located in the division of GI/Nutrition in the Enders Research Building at Boston Childrens Hospital. Our lab is a part of a larger consortium of talented interdisciplinary investigators that focus on gastrointestinal research. The Snapper lab is interested in the cellular and molecular mechanisms of mucosal immunity and host-microbial cross-regulation that promote immune homeostasis and gastrointestinal health. In effort to understand human gastrointestinal inflammatory disorders, we have established a research pipeline that moves our basic research findings into novel translational models which funnel into new clinical trials.
