Therapy Thrives is a counseling service that helps individuals go through personal challenges and trauma through professional, compassionate therapy. Hi, I'm Shirley Chapman, a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate who is passionate about guiding individuals and couples on their journey toward emotional healing and reconnection. I am a trauma nurse and therapist with years of lived experiences, years of academic work, and specialized training in empirically researched therapeutic models. Some of my favorites are Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), as well as integrating other models when appropriate to fit individual needs. I’m here to support you in reaching your goals for counseling and guiding you to create the life you seek where you can safely learn and grow as an individual or couple and thrive.
