Dr. Daveshni Kumar was born and raised in the Fiji Islands before moving to Elk Grove, California in the early 2000s. She attended the University of California, Davis where she obtained a B.S. in Biological Sciences with an emphasis on Neurology, Physiology and Behavior along with a minor in Native American Studies.
