The cemetery sits atop a hillside which is one of the highest points in Fairmont. One can see for about 7 miles. The scene is very serene and peaceful. Wildlife; deer, fawns, turkey are usually in full view. The first burial was made in May of 1962. The cemetery has over 80 acres and has many several undeveloped acres left for expansion.
