Floral Hills was established in 1961, and opened with only two gardens, The Garden of Christus and the Garden of Everlasting Life. In 1962 the Garden of Prayer and the Field of Honor where opened, and we are proud to say that we will give any living veteran a free space.

Our grounds are beautifully maintained by a dedicated crew who are enthusiastic about preserving the loveliness of our gardens. There are numerous oak trees throughout the cemetery that help to promote feelings of tranquility. In the summer, flowerbeds are overflowing with a splendid display of flowers that are quite pleasing to the eye.

The cemetery has a 588 unit mausoleum, which offers both inside and outside spaces. There is a beautiful view from the mausoleum where as it sits on top of a hill. We have 6 established gardens and one being developed. The cemetery has both flat & upright markers. There are two quaint ponds on the grounds and woods surround the cemetery. There is also a statue of Jesus, which is centered at the top of the hill in one of the garden sections.

Standing outside the Mausoleum high atop the hill, you can literally see miles of West Virginia stretching out before you. No less stunning is the view one gets upon entering the Mausoleum. The special touches which help create the perfect setting for quiet moments of reflection are walls of cream and bronze marble, comfortable upholstered furniture on carpeted floors, and cathedral ceilings with elaborate crystal chandeliers. The Mausoleum provides a welcoming place for families to reminisce in all types of weather.
