Here is my experience over the last two years at the Arbaugh: - $400 winter heating bills. - My washer was broke for two months, took two months to replace. - The carpets are so worn and dirty people are tripping over the loose pieces. - My apartment was burglarized. - My neighbor had his car broke into in the parking garage. - Front door locks are regularly broken, allowing homeless people to enter. - Buzzers break almost monthly. - Currently, AC in hallway is broke, its 90 degrees. - Front lobby has been "under construction" for over 4 months to change carpet and paint. - I threw trash in my hallway to test response, it's been there two months. - My AC in apartment has broke three times. - On a hot day my apartment can't stay below 80 degrees. - Even though I paid my rent, they started eviction proceedings, then apologized because their accountant can't count. - The elevator has broken numerous times. - My card to enter the building resets itself for no reason. So sometimes I can't get in the building at 3AM. And there's no one to call about that. - I have witnessed several group street fights out front because its between the Stab and Grab and the Bus station. Be prepared to have homeless people beg for money whenever you exit the building. - Be prepared to find homeless people in the hallways (due to broken doors). - There is writing and graffiti on the walls in public areas.
