There are 4 lakes and two creeks in the June Lake Loop so there are many fishing and hiking opportunities. Established in 1998 Ron and Connie Black founded the Double Eagle Resort and Spa in 1997. This was a labor of love for them as they wanted to share their passion for the beauty and grandeur of the Eastern Sierra with friends. The Resort was completed in 1997 and 1998. It underwent an expansion in 2005. It is an intimate destination resort (only 32 cabins and hotel rooms available for rental) nestled among the pines at the base of majestic Carson Peak and Horsetail Falls Meet the Business Owner: Connie Black Connie & Ron Black founded the Double Eagle Resort in 1997. Their love of the June Lake area and of this pristine setting inspired them to develop the only destination resort in the area.
