June Mountain Ski Area, open Mid-December through Mid-April, offers all types of outdoor winter sports, skiing for the beginner as well as the most advanced, snowboarding and back country skiing for those who are really ready to explore. The mountains, managed by Mammoth Mountain Resorts since 1986, are located near June Lake, southeast of Yosemite National Park where you will find restaurants, shopping and the renowned Antler Bar overlooking the best view in the Eastern Sierra, maybe the best view in the world! Not far from the ski area the City of June Lake offers a variety of restaurants, shops and lodging.
June Mountain Ski Area has facilities available for group get-togethers, meeting venues and weddings where you can take a chair lift to tie the knot at June’s Mountain Scenic Overlook; then bring the reception indoors to the rustic lodge with a wall of windows that highlight the breathtaking views, stone fireplace, high ceilings and open rafters where seating for over 300 guests can be accommodated.

Reverse Creek Lodge is located "in the heart" of the June Lake Loop along State Highway #158, just 4.5 miles in from Hwy. 395 at an elevation of 7,600 feet. Our cabins are adjacent to the creek, secluded and nestled in tall pines. Recent improvements made to our cabins will greatly enhance the comfort of your stay, while keeping the rustic flavor of lodging in our mountain cabins. The Double Eagle Resort is located just 1/2 hour from the eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park in the June Lake Loop.
We have a 17,000 square foot fitness and spa facility complete with a 60 foot indoor pool, whirlpools, steam rooms, locker rooms, cardio equipment, free weights and more.
We provide daily classes that include cycle-fit, yoga, tai-chi, stretching,etc. the classes do vary by day and season.

We have two large trout ponds on property and are located at the base of Carson Peak near Horsetail Falls. There are 4 lakes and two creeks in the June Lake Loop so there are many fishing and hiking opportunities.
Established in 1998 Ron and Connie Black founded the Double Eagle Resort and Spa in 1997. This was a labor of love for them as they wanted to share their passion for the beauty and grandeur of the Eastern Sierra with friends. The Resort was completed in 1997 and 1998. It underwent an expansion in 2005. It is an intimate destination resort (only 32 cabins and hotel rooms available for rental) nestled among the pines at the base of majestic Carson Peak and Horsetail Falls

Connie & Ron Black founded the Double Eagle Resort in 1997. Their love of the June Lake area and of this pristine setting inspired them to develop the only destination resort in the area.
