OHCEDC serves as the vehicle through which residents and other community stakeholders engage in social, economic, housing, and other asset development We engage in the comprehensive revitalization of low and moderate income communities through business development, affordable housing, employment development training, cultural enhancement, social/human services, and to raise the responsiveness of public/private institutions through the following activities: 1. Research and information. 2. Economic empowerment projects. 3. Small business development and the creation/development of new jobs. 4. Porvide access to capital through community partnerships. 5. Building local leadership and community ownership. OHCEDC is a tax-exempt teaching organization designed to comprehensively address economic opportunities, sustainable community development and community-based partnerships.
