Hazelwood Homes began in 1971 with a used van, a few basic tools, a spiral notebook as a ledger and some lofty goals. In the many years since we continue to have steady, controlled growth and now build 25 to 30 homes per year. A vast majority of our business is repeat and referral from pleased homeowners. We have established a reputation as one of the premier builders in the Quad Cities. We build all over the QCA and surrounding areas such as Henry, Whiteside, Rock Island, Mercer and Scott counties. We offer a range of custom options. We specialize in Universal Design, also called aging in place. These homes have no steps, wider hallways for easy mobility, and extra floor space, among other amenities. Our homes are energy efficient, but Green Homes offer extra layers, including materials made from recycled products and geothermal HVAC systems.
