Recognizing that each community has unique characteristics that must be addressed through prevention applications, Lima-UMADAOP has developed a comprehensive program plan that links prevention strategies with the needs of the community. By creating ATOD and violence prevention systems that prove successful in enhancing resiliency factors, we will be building communities that support and reinforce healthy and positive lifestyles. Lima-UMADAOP believes that ATOD and violence are best preventable through education. Prevention is education in action. UMADAOP ensures that African and Hispanic/Latino American communities are at the forefront of local, state and national agendas.
