Coming to our orchard is a nice day trip from the New York metro area. We are near the Hudson River and at the edge of the Catskills. Visible from here is Mohonk Mountain, a resort with a hotel built like a castle. This whole area is historic--from the nearby stone houses to the D&H Canal and cement mines.
