Dr. Sanjeev Jain Medical Oncology & Hematology Dr. Sanjeev Jain is board certified in hematology and medical oncology and has a special interest in breast cancer, colon cancer, and lymphomas. Dr Jain started his medical career journey in India where he received his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Dayanand Medical College where basic principles of medicine of do no harm and respect for the patient were ingrained. Dr. Jain continued to the Jersey Shore University Medical Center in New Jersey for his residency in internal medicine and completed his fellowship in hematology and oncology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, NY where he was awarded for his achievements as an outstanding fellow.

Dr. Joshua Harris Medical Oncology & Hematology After receiving his Bachelor of Science at Pace University with honors, Dr. Joshua Harris obtained his Doctorate of Medicine from Ross University. Upon the completion of his M.D.., Dr. Harris completed his Categorical Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at NYU Winthrop hospital. During which time he received honors as the most outstanding resident. He was also elected and inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha national Honor society for excellence in scholarship, high professionalism, leadership, and gifted teaching.

Sadia Riaz, DO, is a board-certified hematologist-oncologist with more than ten years of experience in benign and malignant hematologic conditions. She has been awarded Castle Connolly's Top Doctor for the second year in a row.

Dr. Triantafillos Fillos Medical Oncology & Hematology Triantafillos Fillos, MD, MS is a key part of our comprehensive cancer treatment program. Dr. Fillos joined the expansive network of medical professionals of New York Cancer & Blood Specialists in August 2016 and is dedicated to providing world-class cancer care to our five Queens County locations. Dr. Fillos completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Boston, Massachusetts from Boston College and Northeastern University, respectively, before completing his Doctorate at St. George's University School of Medicine. During this period, he spent extensive time participating in research which focused on Oncological screening and treatment options.

Dr. Tarun Wasil Medical Oncology & Hematology Tarun Wasil, MD, is an eminent hematologist-oncologist with years of diverse experience. A native of India, Dr. Wasil began his medical career at Government Medical College, receiving a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree. He completed residencies in surgery and emergency medicine, pathology, and microbiology, and served as Resident Medical Officer and Medical Officer.

Dr. Nakul Singhal Medical Oncology & Hematology Nakul Singhal, MD is triple board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology. He completed his hematology/oncology fellowship at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School-Cancer Institute of New Jersey, where he also served as Chief Fellow. Prior to this, he completed his residency in internal medicine at North Shore Long Island Jewish-Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, NY. After, he practiced as an attending physician in internal medicine for one year at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Singhal earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology along with his pre-medical studies at the Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH.

Dr. Rita Weiss Medical Oncology & Hematology Rita Weiss, MD, Ph. D is a board certified hematologist-oncologist who earned her Bachelor's Degree from Brooklyn College and her Medical Degree from University of Monterrey-receiving first place academic honors. In addition, she earned her Doctorate of Philosophy from New York University. After receiving her medical degree, Dr. Weiss completed both her Internship and Residency at Nassau Hospital in Mineola, NY. Upon completion of her Residency, Dr. Weiss completed her Fellowship in Neoplastic Diseases at Mount Sinai Medical Center, with the last year engaged in clinical research for the American Cancer Society.
