BYA is a community-based non-profit organizations serving underresourced children, youth, young adults and their families.
Since 2003, BYA has grown to meet the needs of residents in Berkeley and throughout Alameda County. Our contract with the Workforce Investment Board enables high-risk youth ages 16-21 to go to college, to participate in vocational programs, and to become gainfully employed. Our partnership with the Alameda County Behavioral Health Care Services Agency ensures that residents ages 8-21 and their families are provided with professional mental health services in a non-traditional setting.
