NEVER RENT ANYTHING FROM THIS BUILDING! We gave them $5,000 ($2,500 security and $2,500 first month) on August 15th for a September 1st start date on a two year lease and on August 21st they told us they were accepting another offer for $100 more a month (less than one month's rent more overall). They say that since THEY never signed our lease (though they'd accepted our money and took the signed lease from us) that it wasn't valid yet. They also tried to say it's OUR fault this happened because we waited until the last minute. We saw this apartment on August 8, put in an offer (which they accepted) and our applications on the 9th and signed the lease on the 15th. They were rude and demanding and then tried to get MORE money out of us. Our brokers were horrified and said they'd never heard of a building behaving in this way (two different, prominent firms in NYC). DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY OR TRUST THEM!!!!
