The Grand Encampment Museum (GEM) is a collection of 15 historical buildings, a transportation barn, and two other historical structures. For the public enjoyment is over 80,000 artifacts. As well, there is a collection of over 24,000 historical photographs. GEM is also an official USDA Forest Service (FS) repository. That means many FS artifacts are stored at GEM.
