From the Bride and Groom: The overall success of our wedding reception was ALL due to the diligent work of my family and friends (including my bridal party)-NOT Caribbean Flava. The restaurant serves Jamaican cuisine and when we initially contracted them it was due to their more than reasonable price and the manager/owner’s friendly demeanor. We were highly disappointed with the service better yet non-service they provided. Their responsibilities based on the contract and verbal agreement was breached on so many levels. Here are the main disputes we had with their service/work ethic: 1. Caterer did not set up all the tables and chairs for the décor team 2. Report time was at 5:00pm caterer arrived at 5:30pm (entire team was not present at that time) 3. Caterer failed to rinse/scrape the rental dishes and restack them in the crates 4. Caterer administered inadequate food portions to family and guest-NOT what we agreed on. 5. Caterer demonstrated rude and disorderly conduct toward family and guest (multiple witnesses reported directly to us, including my mother) 6. Caterer did not bring soup or patties for the pre-dinner hour 7. Caterer servers were unruly and unprofessional with décor team (ex. A person on the catering team broke one of our Eiffel tower vases picked it up and left the scene) I refuse to add emotive context to this review because all of our disappointment has been exhausted to the point where “Catty-Remarks” are no longer the order of the day for us
