Denise Clausen, of Sandlake, Oregon is a calligrapher, quilter, and former director of The Latimer Quilt and Textile Center. Vintage, inscribed quilts challenge Denise's experience as a freelance calligrapher and instructor. Her experiments with lettering on fabric have lead her to create many lettered quilts and wall hangings, which she shares in exhibits, lectures and workshops. Â Denise's presentations feature vintage inscribed quilts as well as her original hand-lettered quilts.
