Denise Clausen, of Sandlake, Oregon is a calligrapher, quilter, and former director of The Latimer Quilt and Textile Center. Vintage, inscribed quilts challenge Denise's experience as a freelance calligrapher and instructor. Her experiments with lettering on fabric have lead her to create many lettered quilts and wall hangings, which she shares in exhibits, lectures and workshops.   Denise's presentations feature vintage inscribed quilts as well as her original hand-lettered quilts.
