AMI is developing a small scale wave energy device that generates 5 to 10 watts of power from a 0.4 meter buoy in 15 to 25 cm windchop in intracoastal waterways. Our next development is a generator that will provide 7 KW from a 2 meter buoy operating in just 1.5 meter ocean swells.
