I take a pattern and iron it and spread it out on the fabric, then pin. I usually do an alteration to this so I either change the design or make the pattern fit better to form. Then I cut it out. I have a model bust so I use it to piece together the outfit to see how it is laying and how it looks. I make needed changes. I sew the pieces together. I iron as I go.
