My name is Pat Grabovac and Joan use to be my son's teachers assistant when he was in grade school. She was fantastic to my son. She helped him with basic math, counting, reconition of the alaphabet, objects and much more. Joan has a lot of patience with my son and while I went to check on him I noticed that he was smiling which I felt he was very happy Joan was his teacher assistant. So made sure he was clean, and listened to. Once he showed her in a picture book that his leg was bothering him and flipped to the page where he pointed to Joan his leg was hurting him. Joan quickly reported the pain in my sons leg to the teacher and when I took him to the hospital, sure enough his leg was broken. I am truly thankful Joan took the time to help my child not only in academic stuff but listened to him threw another way due to my son is nonverbal. I am truly greatful to Joan .
