My name is Joan I have been taking care of speical needs adults/children for 18 years now. I entered this field as a volunteer working with children at an afternoon program, assisting them with swimming, computers, arts and crafts, plus other recreational and theraputic activities, I then became a feeder for Special School District in st Louis Mo. and finally a teachers assistant. I began to work with chiuldren and adults with such diagnoses as Alzeheimers, Down Syndrom, Mental Disability, Physical Disability, Learning Disability, Attention Deficit Disorder, ADHD,Autism and Tourette's syndrom. I take care of individuals in my home or yours, providing a safe enviroment. I strive to challenge my clients in a loving manner to push beyond the stars and reach for the most they can achieve.
