A future shelter for women, children AND their pets!

We are working toward opening a combination emergency/transitional shelter for battered/homeless women AND their pets, which may be a first for ILLINOIS. This has to STOP!! There is an ASTRONOMICAL number of abused women in the state of ILLINOIS, let alone the rest of the country. If your sister or your best friend was being battered and she had a pet she adored, wouldn't you want a safe place for her to go?
