I hired Mark Andrews June 5th to remove & rebuild a deck, get a plan & apply for Kootenai County permit. He gave a wonderful quote as long as he'd get $5500 cash up front. He stalled for 3 weeks until I caught him lying about progress on the permit. He then sent a bogus plan not matching our agreement, never fixed it & never applied for a permit. I secured the permit on Aug.9. The only work Mark has done is remove the old deck. Today is Aug 27 th, no work is being done, and Mark refuses help resolve our situration. Mark was not licensed, bonded or even registered in Idaho so and did not inform me. This is not legal and by law voids our contract. I can take him to court, but I prefer to settle and have offered a number of options, but Mark continues to stall. Mark has shown incompetence and dishonesty throughout this whole nightmare. BEWARE!!!!!!
