All I needed was copy keys, however, nearly every other hardware store I visited denied service to me stating that the key belonged to a high security lock and was difficult to duplicate. Frustrated, I looked up on the internet for an answer and I found it - https://www.ElmwoodPark.General-Locksmith-Store.com. I rang them up, a dispatcher patiently listened to my requirements and said that the job could be done. Relieved, I waited for a locksmith from General Locksmith Store to turn up at my door. It didn’t take long. Within minutes, a van pulled up on my driveway. Joe took one look at the key and got busy with the equipment in his vans. Half an hour later, I had three perfectly crafted copies of the keys. I can’t thank Joe enough!!! I’m never going to seek help anywhere else because I know everything I need related to locks and keys will be provided by General Locksmith Store! Will I recommend them? Definitely. Go for it, if you live in Elmwood Park, NJ!

Okay, I joined Online tonight just to leave this review. The dispatcher and David the locksmith were both awesome, really helpful and nice. It took about 20 minutes for him to arrive, and he explained each method he tried, and some information about my type of lock. The last time I had to have a lock opened, the guy took one look at my door (same one) and told me it had to be drilled, then charged $200 to do it. I was left with the replacement bill from my landlord, too. I told the General Locksmith Store folks about this, and they confirmed it's a common scam. They'll offer a low price, then drill and charge a ton. Thanks to David and General Locksmith Store Great Locksmith Service !!!

I needed a top lock with a plate cover and not really knowing what locksmiths do besides let you in when you're locked out I didn't realize at first that I needed to call one. When i check online its help me to find General Locksmith Store and thank goodness. Scott set up an appointment for a few days later, called the day of to let me know how his schedule was going, showed up early with warning, and did an all around awesome job. Afterward he explained to me what he'd done and why and made sure everything was working for me before he left. The flat fee meant no surprises. These guys are the best.
