The damage was done. The new lock I purchased from the hardware store with an intention to install it myself was now ruined. Defeated, I surfed the web and found https://www.Ardsley.State-Locksmith-Services.com. Eddie got there in minutes. Once he took a look at the lock, he informed me that it was a cheap counterfeit and that’s why it had been damaged so easily due to the rough handling. I felt completely stupid, having wasted 50 bucks on a useless lock. Eddie reassured me that he would fix the genuine one at a lesser price – and so he did. Wish I’d hired State Locksmith Services in the first place, instead of wasting my time dabbling in stuff that was beyond me. If you live in Ardsley , NY, hire them – they’re EXCELLENT!!!

I just moved into a new apartment and needed a new lock. I called State Locksmith Services on saturday and tech came by Sunday morning. He did the job fast and was courteous and professional. He even threw in a few extra parts that I need for my lock free of charge. Thanks David!

We needed a deadbolt installed from scratch on a hollow metal door and metal frame and after looking around with no luck to have someone install the thing, Dave was all "no problem" and quoted a very fair price, So we go with State Locksmith Services. He banged it out in no time at all and was such a sweet guy (and a cutie) that I was a little bummed he was done so quickly. We have a dog who is kind of a pest (read: a really mouthy little pest...lol) and most strangers who come by to do work in our house find him at least mildly annoying (with good reason.) But not Dave. He was absolutely darling to him and took out his phone to show me a pic of his own super adorable furry bundle of joy. Can't recommend Dave highly enough for all your lock needs. Don't hesitate, just call State Locksmith Services. You'll be in very good hands.
