'Catholic' means universal; James Joyce once said, "To be Catholic means, 'here comes everybody!'" And that's what we aspire to - to be an open and welcoming Catholic presence in Ithaca NY.
Welcoming with language that is gender neutral; welcoming with discussions and events and liturgies that include everyone and affirm the humanity and holiness of everyone.
We are in conversation with Dignity USA to establish a chapter here in Ithaca. Dignity USA is for GLBT Catholics who want to live their Catholic faith and be affirmed in their wholeness.
