We are a new community, worshiping in the Catholic Tradition. We meet at the First Unitarian Society at 306 North Aurora Street, on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7pm. 'Catholic' means universal; James Joyce once said, "To be Catholic means, 'here comes everybody!'" And that's what we aspire to - to be an open and welcoming Catholic presence in Ithaca NY. Welcoming with language that is gender neutral; welcoming with discussions and events and liturgies that include everyone and affirm the humanity and holiness of everyone. We are in conversation with Dignity USA to establish a chapter here in Ithaca. Dignity USA is for GLBT Catholics who want to live their Catholic faith and be affirmed in their wholeness. Join us!
